Mill Rose Inn, Half Moon Bay Hotel

We very much enjoyed our brief stay (11/5/2025). Would highly recommend staying there again. Walking distance to some nice places to eat too.

I appreciated the unique, historic vibe of the inn (the sitting room off the main entrance is truly gorgeous!). The garden was stunning and our room was spacious and comfortable. The wine was a lovely touch, too.

Beautiful little historical inn. Pretty sure we were the only ones there that night! Rooms were precious and we loved the back patio. Beds were extremely comfortable. Within comfortable walking distance to Main Street, and you get a breakfast voucher at the bakery around the corner. Highly recommend!

Came for our anniversary and what a treat! It’s very romantic and cozy. Our room has a fire place and lots of windows. The place is surrounded by gardens and beautiful patios. There is lots of areas to lounge and relax. They also have drinks available like tea, coffee, and wine. I was bummed that they don’t serve breakfast, and they gave us vouchers to go to a restaurant down the street. The location is also great, close to HMB Main street where restaurants and shops are. Overall we found this place to be magical and charming and would come back again!

The best B&B I've been to. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. I love being able to sit around and relax in my room for a bit when I'm on vacation, so having a room with nice seating and a beautiful gas fireplace was a delight. Our room had a nice table so one of the nights we were able to get pizza delivered. There's a mini fridge and microwave which was something I wish all hotels had! Being able to just bring back the leftovers of a tasty meal was really helpful. We called in and got the celebration package that they had listed on their website, so when we arrived there were beautiful flowers, cakes and cupcakes, wine and sparkling juice all waiting for us! Our room had a claw foot bath tub, which was nice but unfortunately the water didn't get very hot when filling it. Oh but this is the first time in my life I've had a robe provided by a hotel that was actually comfortable! Super soft! The towels and linens were really soft too! We had a wonderful time and are planning on coming again in the future!

I hosted my wife’s baby shower here. It was the best decision, the rustic, beautiful charm of this place is unbeatable, and so rare to find these days. The hosts were so pleasant and helpful, I cannot praise them enough. I highly recommend selecting them for your next event, or for your next stay.

Amazing little place. The rooms were very nice, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Everything is walking distance. They team up with an amazing breakfast. Pricing was fair, and they offered a military discount. Absolutely, I would recommend and will definitely stay here again. Their cocktail hour is super fun with great staff.

No indoor/outdoor pool, but I feel HOME at last, not only because it is Mill Rose Inn, my first Bed&Breakfast experience, but it is just like a DREAM come true
